One other thing you indirectly mentioned but I think needs to be mentioned outright, cut out toxic people, toxic environments and toxic content in your life. It is so easy to fall victim to it and I let toxic situations at work and with family ruin my mood to where I was using alcohol to cope.
If it is a toxic work environment, do not be afraid to look for another job if you are in sales.
If it is a toxic friend that always brings you down and has a pessimistic mindset, cut off ties and run.
If it is a toxic online community or forum you browse, leave bro! It doesn't matter how "realistic" and "black pilled" they sound.
I made this change in 2021 and it feels so good.
As a bonus, change to the cities where winners are going to. Moved out of Atlanta (where you have a ton of Karens and losers) and to NYC, changed my mindset in a massive way. From NYC to now Miami, cannot be happier.

I started a side hustle in 2004, which became my full time consulting gig, which became a small agency. However. It took me 15 years to reach my first $1m in ARR. But then it only took 2 years to double to $2m. The learning curve can be steep, but if you can reduce it by at least half, you’ll do far better than I. The fact that you can learn anything online is more true now than 15 years ago.
